[Rinpoche continues the Maitreya Puja.]

So please dedicate the merits to actualize, the bodhicitta to be generated in the heart of oneself, one’s own family members, in the hearts of all the students, all the supporters and all those who give up their life, those who sacrifice their life to the organization doing service to sentient beings, the teaching of Buddha, and those who rely upon me, whom I promised to pray, whose name is given to me, and doing service to me, in all their hearts and in the hearts of all the sentient beings, particularly, so….

Jang chhub sem chhog….

May the bodhicitta be generated in the hearts of all the leaders of the world.

Jang chhub sem chhog….

May the bodhicitta be generated in all those people who have harmful thoughts to harm the world, to other sentient beings, those who have harmful thoughts, those who are labeled “terrorist” or whatever, so in all their hearts bodhicitta to be generated immediately.

Pal den la mai ku tshe ten pa dang….

That we have this incredible opportunity today to collect so many times, during this, oneself to collect so many limitless skies of merits so many times with each practice, and especially with the offerings, extensive offerings, so that which creates enlightenment with those different practices, so all these unimaginable purification we did today and all the merits we collected today, extensive, so many times limitless skies of merit we collected today, and able to create numberless causes of enlightenment, numberless causes of liberation from samsara, numberless causes of happiness of future lives, all this, and then able to do the puja or practice for the happiness of all sentient beings, for the world peace and all this that we are able to do and all those particular sentient beings, those who died in very heavy situations, those who are sick or dying, however, all this, every understanding of Dharma that we have, every single merit, every single purification that we have opportunity, this all came from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, it’s due to His Holiness’s kindness. We got all this freedom, so please dedicate all the merits His Holiness to have stable life, all the holy wishes to be succeed immediately.

And second, the who are kinder than all the three-time buddhas, Lama Yeshe, the founder of this organization, so due to Lama Yeshe’s kindness we’re able to do this practice here on this land, because he’s the one who founded this idea to build the Maitreya statue, so that’s why we got the chance to do this practice, this incredible practice today. Made us so much closer to enlightenment, purified all those heavy negative karmas collected from beginningless rebirth, so this is Lama Yeshe’s kindness, so we dedicate that whatever Lama had, holy wishes whatever he had in the past, to be actualized immediately. And then Lama Ösel Rinpoche to benefit all sentient beings like Lama Tsongkhapa, like His Holiness the Dalai Lama, in this life to be most beneficial and long life.

And please dedicate all the past, present, future merits collected by oneself, due to all these merits, [pause] that by generating bodhicitta in the hearts of all the sentient beings, then everybody live their life only benefiting each other, no harm, and whatever they do it become only cause of enlightenment. And then nobody experience war, famine, disease, torture, poverty, sickness, dangers of fire, water, air, earthquakes, so all the undesirable things in this world. Nobody, wherever it’s happening this, may it be stopped immediately and may nobody in this world experience all these undesirable things forever. [pause]

And due to all the past, present, future merits collected by oneself, three-time merits collected by others, then, oneself, one’s own family members and all the students in this organization FPMT and all the supporters and those who sacrifice their lives, so many, so many who give up their life to the organization doing service to sentient beings, teaching of Buddha, and those who rely upon me, whom I promised to pray and those who are doing service to me, so may all of us, everybody, and us here tonight doing practice together, may all of us have long life, to be healthy, all the wishes to be succeed immediately according to the holy Dharma. And most important may we be able to actualize Lama Tsongkhapa’s stainless teaching, unified of sutra and tantra, in all of our hearts in this very lifetime without delay even a second.

And due to all the past, present, future merits collected by me, the three-time merits collected by others, then, may the 500-feet Maitreya statue and the Maitreya statue here, all the rest of the Maitreya statues be able to actualize in different parts of the world, so about one thousand, and all the Maitreya statues will be, may it be actualized as quick as possible and as well all the rest of the holy objects different parts of the world, to cause sentient beings quickest way to purify their negative karma, collecting merits and bring to enlightenment as quick as possible, so to receive all the needs, all the fundings for that. Then as well as the building monasteries, nunneries different parts of the world, to preserve Dharma, spread Dharma for sentient beings, and as well as offering to the Sanghas, those Lama Tsongkhapa tradition the major monasteries where they, places of learning the depth, the most extensive Buddhadharma in this world and continue to offer service, continue offering service to them, food and so forth, offering money for food so forth, then continue to offer all the time and to develop. Then Sanghas in this organization, FPMT organization, to be able to make, offering service or make offerings to them, as well as then social services, various social services in this organization, hospice and universal, most important one, universal education, there’s, to in this world the education, the heart of the education that, heart of the, to grow the, the children to grow up good human being, compassionate, loving, tolerant, like this, in this world and to not become harmful being, to be able to bring, each person to bring only peace and happiness in the world, so become so beneficial like this to the whole world and to one’s own family, to even, including oneself to have a life filled with peace and happiness. And universal education and hospice, then all the giving treatment to those who are sick, sicknesses, giving shelter, food and those things, then the eye hospitals and so forth, in Tibet and different social services different parts of the world, then all those to be most beneficial for sentient beings, and to be elaborate, to be developed as many as possible and receive all the needs for that, and as well as every individual center to be most beneficial for sentient beings, able to cause to find faith in refuge and karma and cause to actualize bodhicitta in all their hearts and in the hearts of all sentient beings, and spread the teaching of Lama Tsongkhapa, unified of sutra and tantra, in the hearts of all sentient beings, bring to enlightenment as quick as possible and to receive all the, and as well as, each individual center has many projects and so many things to, social service and also spread Dharma, many, so all the conditions, all the needs whatever, finance, whatever they need, then may they receive all those things. Then whatever project each center has to be actualized as quick as possible.

Then, the particular, then, those people who are dying today or sick, those, and then all those people who died in war and those who killed, created very heavy negative karma, who died in the tsunami and in various situations, terrifying situations, so all those then any family member you have who died, friends who died, then may all those as we did the prayer then immediately may they be liberated, all the hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, all those, including those numberless beings, then may they immediately get liberated from all those sufferings and reincarnate, to be born in the presence of the Maitreya Buddha in Tushita as quick as possible without delay even a second, like that, to achieve enlightenment as quick as possible.

Then in particular the projects here on this land, the Maitreya statue here on this land and all other, along with that there are many other projects, along with that, to be actualized as quick as possible. So we dedicate for that. [pause]

So here I would like to thank, I requested to here to NK, I want to thank very much, so I requested NK to take the, to build this project here, which is original, the very original Lama Yeshe’s to actualize, so I rely on NK to accomplish this project here, and also I would like to thank both of them. So I rely upon here from Malaysia, NK and Ming, who has a lot of experience, who has great experience of doing projects and so, I’m extremely happy to have met and then who have great experience, who has compassion, devotion to, potential, so much potential that can actualize this project, so I would like to thank very much and please dedicate the merits also to have healthy, for them to have long life and to be healthy and all their wishes to benefit for sentient beings, teaching of Buddha, to be actualized as quick as possible. Due to all the past, present, future merits collected by me, the three-time merits collected by others, that which are empty, which exist but which are empty, may the I, who exists but who is empty, achieve Maitreya Buddha’s enlightenment, which exists but which is empty, [pause] lead all the sentient beings, who exist but who are empty, to that Maitreya Buddha’s enlightenment, which exists, but which is empty, by myself alone, who exists, but who is empty. [pause]

I dedicate all the merits to be able to follow the holy extensive deeds of bodhisattva Samantabhadra and Manjugosha as they realizes.

I dedicate all the merits in the same way the three-time buddhas dedicate their merits.

And the general teaching of Buddha, particularly Lama Tsongkhapa’s teaching, may it be spread in all the directions, may it be flourished forever in this world, by completely actualizing in one’s heart and in the hearts of one’s own family members, in the hearts of all the students and all the supporters and those who give up their life, those who sacrifice their life to the organization doing service, within all their hearts and in the hearts of everyone in this world.

Dag dang zhän gyi dü sum dang….

So each merit that we collected to multiply 100,000 times so we recite the mantra, Buddha’s name.

[Rinpoche quickly recites the various multiplying mantras.]

Then all the prayers whatever we did to be actualized, Medicine Buddha’s name then the one buddha who cause to actualize all the prayers, the dedications.

Due to the eminent blessing of the buddhas, bodhisattvas, and due to my special attitude and the unbetraying dependent arising, may all my pure prayers be succeed immediately.

So thank you very much, for everybody for coming from very far to Bodhgaya, so this is part of the experience. Part of the experience , so by bearing the hardships to practice Dharma so we purify all those many eons, many lifetimes, heavy negative karmas and collect extensive merits, so that’s the reason why we came here, to collect extensive merits and to purify the mind and to make closer our mind to the realizations of the path to enlightenment. So, yeah, for that, so, maybe quite a bit suffered, coldness and all the things, tiredness and coldness and many things, many needs, coldness and tiredness and many needs, okay, so but however, it’s extremely worthwhile, so nobody became enlightened without bearing hardships to practice Dharma. So, it’s extremely worthwhile. So we beared, we suffered so much for negative karma, we suffered so much from beginningless rebirth for creating negative karma. To create the cause of samsara we suffered so much, we sacrificed our life numberless times, so this is one time we sacrificed our life for Dharma practice. So we should realize, should ?remember that. And all the people who did, who set up all the offerings, these beautiful offerings, so I would like to thank very, very much, and as well as the organization here, Tony and everybody, so I would like to thank very much.
