fpmt

Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition. Founded by Lama Yeshe, the FPMT is the parent organization for the Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive. The FPMT is an organization devoted to preserving and spreading Mahayana Buddhism worldwide.

FPMT Education Services. Offers a vast range of study programs, practice materials, training programs, and scholarships, fulfilling the needs of beginners to advanced practitioners. Through FPMT's Online Learning Center, students can engage in the programs at home.

FPMT Centers, Projects and Services. There are 162 centers, projects and services in 38 countries worldwide, under the spiritual direction of Lama Zopa Rinpoche and the FPMT. All FPMT centers, projects and services welcome students, visitors and enquiries.

Access to Insight. Provides accurate, reliable, and useful information and texts related to the practice and study of Theravada Buddhism.

Buddhanet. A Buddhist information network, with an online magazine, ebooks, and numerous online Buddhist resources and links.

DharmaNet. A non-sectarian multimedia resource center for learning about meditation, wisdom and compassionate action. Find links to Buddhist teachings on the web and a directory of Dharma centers and practice groups.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. The official website for His Holiness, featuring news, teachings, images, videos and His Holiness' schedule.

Kopan Monastery. The home monastery of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and the location of an annual one-month Tibetan Buddhist meditation retreat.

Library of Tibetan Works and Archives. Founded by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, this is a repository of Tibetan artifacts and manuscripts. The Library offers online Buddhist philosophy classes and a variety of Tibetan and non-Tibetan publications.

Maitripa College. Offers graduate-level Buddhist Studies classes, retreats and workshops with visiting scholars, introductory classes in Buddhism, and weekly public Dharma teachings and prayer services in Portland, Oregon, under the direction of Yangsi Rinpoche.

Rigpa Wiki. This online encyclopedia and media library of Tibetan Buddhist teachings is designed especially for students of Rigpa and Sogyal Rinpoche.

Study Buddhism. An extensive source of authentic Buddhist teachings, presented in a down-to-earth and practical way. This website is a project of The Berzin Archives, founded by Dr. Alexander Berzin, a Buddhist teacher, translator and practitioner with more than 50 years of experience.

Tibetan Buddhist Internet Radio. An MP3 radio station and download archive for Tibetan Buddhist teachings. Most of the content is in English.

Teachings From Tibet. A collection of teachings by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and other great Tibetan lamas on the path to enlightenment (lam-rim.)


Publications

Lions Roar Foundation. A publisher of Buddhist teachings, news, and perspectives in print magazines and digital editions. Publications include Buddhadharma and Lion's Roar.

Mandala Magazine. The official publication of the FPMT, Mandala is a multimedia publication that includes print and web materials.

Shambhala Publications. A publisher of books on spirituality, psychology, health and lifestyle. Note that in 2012 Shambhala Publications acquired Snow Lion, a Buddhist book specialist. Shambhala now distributes titles previously available from Snow Lion.

Thubten Dhargye Ling. In collaboration with the Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive, Thubten Dhargye Ling has published Mirror of Wisdom (which is now posted on our companion website TeachingsFromTibet.com) and Illuminating the Path to Enlightenment.

Tricycle: The Buddhist Review. A leading independent journal of Buddhism in the West.
