Lama Zopa Rinpoche teaches on the lamrim, the stages of the path to enlightenment, illustrating key points with colorful anecdotes and engaging personal stories. However, his main emphasis during the course is on emptiness. Using the wonderful verse from the Vajra Cutter Sutra, “A star, a defective view, a butter lamp flame…” over several days Rinpoche explores how the cause of all our problems stems from misreading reality. Rinpoche, a master at teaching emptiness, does so here in great depth and with great clarity.
