Rinpoche gave the following advice regarding which practices would be helpful in stopping the bird flu epidemic.

  • The Mantra Destroying all the Negative Karmas and Defilements
  • Thang Tong Gyalpo's prayer—Liberating Sakya From Disease
  • Black Garuda practice
  • Vajra Armor mantra. It would be very useful to do retreat on the Vajra Armor mantra. It doesn't have to be a strict retreat; it could also be just reciting one mala a day.
  • Prayer to Guru Rinpoche to Clear Away Obstacles on the Path
