Late at night the students would form a line out in the courtyard between the main building and Lama's house. It was pitch black outside and I could not see my hand in front of my face, but Lama spent a long time visiting and touching each student, giving them all last advice." I took his hands. He asked what he could do for me. I was aghast."No, Lama, what can I do for you?," I replied. Lama thought for a while and said "Give my love to all my brothers and sisters in England."
