Bea Ribush was there and Colin Crosbie, Pete and Gabe. It’s a very small flat and you couldn’t overlook anybody. So I stood there with the flagon under my arm while they all looked at me and packed up laughing. What I didn’t know was that Lama Yeshe was sitting right beside me with his zen pulled over his face. Somehow that had made him invisible to me. Then he whipped it off. I couldn’t believe he was there."
