Purifying Disease; White Light Meditation

This time we're going to do a short meditation.

The meditation is the, so in this box there is Guru Shakyamuni Buddha's actual relic pill, actual pill, relic born from his, came from his tooth. And many enlightened, many saints, great yogis, enlightened beings relics inside. However, this time, today's meditation is, we visualize as we breathe breath out we visualize the disease - there are four things, disease, I'm not going to go over details, disease. Then the other conditions I will explain another time. Disease and another condition, it's not the main cause still, another condition for the disease is spirit harm. Then the unskillful action that which is the mind. Unskillful action. Then the imprint, the main cause of the disease or the main cause of the whole entire problem is the negative energy, the imprint that's left on the mental continuum by the wrong thoughts, by the mistaken thoughts and the mistaken action. So that is obscuration, the negative energy or the imprint that's left on the mental continuum by the wrong thoughts and the mistaken action.

So, four things to purify: disease and other conditions is the spirit harm, then the unskillful action then the imprint, the negative imprint that projects the problems, the life problems, that which the imprint materializes, the imprint manifest in the problems, projects the problems, like the film, in the film there is people fighting or enjoying, many things recorded in the film. Then by putting the machine with electricity then it projects on the screen. The figure there, figure of the people that are enjoying or fighting, various types. So like that, like that similar, imprint left, like we take picture of people, place that involve many different stories or actions. So with that picture that leaves imprint on the negative, on the film. Then afterwards you can project that. So like this exactly, exactly how the TV, how the movie that we watch from where it came from, from the film. Exactly like this, how that works, exactly like that, so the life, our life happiness and problems come from our own mind. Doesn't come from outside, our own mind, the different thoughts, the problems came from the mistaken thoughts, happiness came from our positive attitude, our positive thought.

So this positive action, unskillful action, positive mind, and unskillful mind, all this also comes from the imprint, basically comes from the imprint that is left on the mental continuum, that's left on the consciousness, consciousness of the mind, that sixth consciousness, consciousness of the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, five consciousnesses, and then the sixth consciousness, the consciousness of mind and this sixth consciousness is the one that which goes from one life to another life, which reincarnates is the sixth consciousness. Other consciousnesses stop at time of death but this sixth consciousness is the one that carries the message or which carries the imprint, the energy or the imprint, imprint that which is left by the action and the thoughts.

So this consciousness, consciousness of mind, this is the one like, that which carries all the imprint, all the energy, from yesterday to today, from last year to this year, from child time now, from other lives now. So the consciousness of the mind, so we did some things this morning and now we remember. We did some things yesterday and we remember today. We did something last year and this year we remember. We did something child time and now we remember. That is consciousness of the mind doing that function and then there are other thoughts, there are other mental factors that functions, work together.

However, so we purify disease, spirit harm, the unskillful actions and thoughts, so these are and then these come from the imprint that's left on the mind, the negative imprint that's left on the mind by the unskillful actions and thoughts. So these are the cause of not only disease but any life problem, relationship problem, any other problem. So causes this, the action, thought then the imprint that which is on the mental continuum. So we are, when we purify the cause we purify all these three, unskillful actions, thoughts and imprint.

So when we purify we are not purifying just only disease, because disease is, that's not only, that's not the whole entire problem. Disease is just one from thousands of problems of samsara.

Samsara means this association of this body and mind, which is association of body and mind which we have now. Our present association of body and mind that which is created by impure cause, the action and the mind not knowing, not understanding, not knowing the ultimate nature of the I, not knowing the ultimate nature of the mind, not knowing the ultimate nature of the body.

So this present association of body and mind, which is, from where like crops growing from the field, from where many problem comes: the rebirth, sicknesses, old age, the death, then many other problems, separating from desirable object or meeting the undesirable object. Not finding satisfaction after one has found the object. So from where this problem is come, is from this, our present the association of body and mind that which is called samsara or that which is called the cycle. Cycling from one life to another life, continuing from one life to another life.

So why this our present association of body and mind is, why this produces many, why this produce so much problem, why this is a container of so many problems is because this came from the action and the thought, the mental factor, that which doesn't know, which is hallucinated of the ultimate nature of the I, the reality of the I. So this thought which is a wrong concept or hallucinated mind, the ignorance not knowing ultimate nature of the I.

Because the cause is impure so that's why this present association of body and mind is nature of suffering. So this produces many problems.

So the disease is just one, only one problem, so here we're purifying the disease but at the same time we're purifying the cause of the whole entire problem. How many problem there are in the life, we're purifying the whole entire cause. So we particular concentrate disease but we purify the cause of the whole entire problem.

So this is the meditation.

So when we breathe, so first we breathe in then when we breathe out slowly, then we think all the disease, now and in the future, all the disease and then the cause of the whole entire problem, the unskillful action and the thoughts, then the imprint, the negative imprint left by them. So all came out, as we breathe out all came out in the form of pollution in the form of pollution or in the form of smoke. Like from the factory, the factory chimney the smoke coming so in the form of pollution or smoke came out completely and then went, through the nose came out and then went beyond from this earth, very far, so far beyond from this earth and then completely disappeared there. Then try to feel liberated or free, become healthy, liberated or free. Mentally free and physically free.

Then when we breathe in, we visualize light, visualize like sun beam coming, sun beam like that, light coming from these stupas. These signify, these objects is, what it symbolizes is the omniscient, the fully enlightened being's completely pure holy mind. What it signify, the fully enlightened being's the perfect, pure the holy mind. It signifies that. However, one can think the fully enlightened, the perfect completely pure, their mind, in that shape, so all this shape has much signification.

All this shape describes the whole path to the peerless happiness, the full enlightenment, from bottom to on top. It has full complete explanation, the bases and the path and the result. The bases is the two truth, conventional truth, ultimate truth. Then two, then path, method and wisdom, then the result, the achievement the two kayas or complete pure holy body that which is completely free from all the suffering, and completely pure holy mind. So that has got complete, it signifies the whole bases and the path and result. Complete. However, so the full enlightenment, peerless happiness, the fully enlightened the perfect holy mind, the pure mind in the form of this holy object, stupa.

Then from this like sunbeam light came, radiated, emit strong light, then went straight to one's own heart. Heart get completely illuminated, completely illuminated within oneself.

Then again thinking that disease and spirit harm, the condition, one of the conditions, spirit harm, then unskillful actions, unskillful thoughts, then imprint that's left on the mind by those things all immediately [snap], instantly [snap] instantly they're all purified, they're all completely eliminated, or purified. And particularly then that disease whatever one has, it's gone.

So the whole body become the nature of light, white light, and then feel so much joy, tip of the hair down to toes, whole body filled with joy, filled with bliss or filled with joy, great joy.

So today we're going to do just this simple meditation.

So you can relax, physically whatever you feel comfortable, you can relax, but the most important thing is mind, even if you're laying down but the mind meditating this. So the mind meditating is the most important, that's the most important point.

So I repeat slowly once more then we can do, then you can do, you can just repeat this just again and again by yourself in the mind.

...whatever one has got. So the whole body become nature of light, white light and then feel so much joy, tip of the hair down to the toes, whole body filled with joy, filled with bliss or joy, great joy. So today we are going to do just this simple meditation.

So you can relax, physically whatever you feel comfortable but the most important thing is mind ys even you are laying down but the mind meditating this, so the mind meditating is the most important, that is the most important point.

So I repeat slowly once more then we can do, then you can just repeat this just again and again yk by yourself, in the mind.

First breathe in slowly [pause].

Now breathe out. As you breathe out, visualize all the disease, spirit harm, the unskillful actions, thoughts, imprint left on the consciousness all gone out, all purified, in the form of pollution, went away beyond from this earth, disappeared.

Now as we breathe in, strong light the beams emitted from the stupas, that which is peerless happiness, the fully enlightened, perfect pure mind. The white light completely illuminated within oneself, completely purified, completely liberated oneself, one's own body and mind from all the disease, conditions, spirit harms, the unskillful actions, thoughts and imprints that which is left on the consciousness. [pause]

And feel the whole body become in the nature of light, white light, no suffering at all, no problems, mind and body become completely free. Now filled with the great joy inside, bliss [very long pause].

...increased and also think after experiencing much joy, from the hair down to the toes everything filled with joy, great joy and bliss, then also think fully developed, increased the life, life prolonged, then the fortune, the positive energy or the positive imprint, actions are developed, the cause of happiness, which are the cause of success are developed. Then wisdom is developed, wisdom, compassion, all the qualities, the realizations of the path and understanding, everything is fully developed within oneself.

Then again one can start the meditation, then again one can start to purify, then receiving light from the holy object, so one can repeat over.

So this time, before I forgot, so this time, first one think of the motivation, the positive motivation, positive attitude of the life. What is the purpose of my life? What is the meaning of my life? So question to oneself first, meaning of my life is not just only to solve my own problems and to obtain happiness only for myself, that's not only the purpose of my life. The purpose of my life is to free everyone whose mind is obscured and suffering, to free everyone from all the problems and obscurations, the cause, the obscurations, and to bring them in happiness, temporary, especially ultimate everlasting happiness, the highest happiness, completed peace, so to bring everyone in this. So this is the purpose of my life, this is the meaning of my life.

So the meaning of my life is very vast, like the infinite sky. The meaning of my life is not very narrow, it is not a small thing; it is like infinite sky. This is the purpose of my living, so therefore my responsibility is to free everyone from all the problems and causes, the obscurations, and bring in happiness, not only temporary but ultimate everlasting happiness, not even that, the highest happiness, completed peace, the full enlightenment.

So to do this service, this extensive service for all other living beings, I need to develop wisdom and method, such as the compassion for everyone and I need therefore long life and healthy.

Therefore I am going to do this healing meditation.

So we can do once more the meditation the same, breathing out and purifying and receiving light and healing, liberating oneself from all these things and again feeling great bliss and joy, the body become nature of light and filled with joy, great joy and bliss, from the tip of the hair down to the toes, everything, so please do one more meditation. So this time you can do slowly, by, each individual yourself can do. [pause]

Yeah, so now we are going to dedicate, dedicate our merit, the positive action, the energy that we collected by generating the positive attitude and the positive action of meditation that is done out of that, for the benefit of other living beings.

Due to this, all these positive actions, the imprints that I have gathered, that I have created now, and what I have done in the past and also what I will do in the future, due to all this, may I achieve, may I develop the ultimate good heart, the altruism, and lead, achieve myself the peerless happiness, the full enlightenment and bring everyone in this full enlightenment, this completed peace of mind. [pause]

And due to these positive actions that I have done with a positive mind, all these merits, may any living being who see me, who touch me, who remember me, who talk about me, who think about me, may all those beings just by that, may they be immediately become free from all the disease and spirit harms, the negative actions and the obscurations, all these obstacles for happiness, and quickly achieve the highest ultimate happiness, the full enlightenment. So you sincerely dedicate merit or the positive actions, attitude, for all other living beings, for their happiness. [pause]

Thank you. I think I made the time quite a bit crazy .

Just to make it easy I thought, basically, the fundamental topics during this time is similar to what is written in this book called Transforming Problems: utilizing the happiness and suffering in the path to the peerless happiness called enlightenment.

In other words, even one has a happy life but to make the happy life most beneficial for other beings and even one has problems but make it beneficial, how to make it beneficial, worthwhile or beneficial for other living beings. Another title is to transform into happiness.

So maybe the, reading this might help to get the general idea of not just disease, not just how to handle the problem of disease but death, in a broad way, how to deal with or how to think. So by reading this it might help, maybe to understand more clear the, my talking tomorrow , my broken English, maybe to understand without confusion or something.

So I think that's all, thank you so much. So, gradually we are going to, I'm planning to do discourse on the particular about, meantime how to handle or how to transform the death, the enjoyable experience or happy path, and so different topics. As Elphi mentioned this morning about peaceful death, so which is the most important meditation or most important subject or practice. So I'm planning also on that to talk.

And starting from tomorrow there is healing, there is one way of blessing the water with the mantras, with the meditation, then we drink the water and that is one way of doing it. Specially child or very, very old aged person that cannot understand, cannot hear, cannot communicate. So for those, how to do healing for those, this is the only way since can't communicate, so other way of healing is by blessing, through meditation, blessing certain substances like water or creams, something to apply on the outside or water, which can, which the person can drink and so that heals the inside the chronic disease or the infections or things like that. So that is particularly useful for very old aged who can't communicate or the child, small babies, age that cannot communicate.

So, in one way, so we will be talking on different subjects. In one way this is also learning that you can individually, each of us can do healing for others, for other people, can help others. Can use this techniques or even can make better, can make even clear the meditation techniques so we can help others. So one way is learning how to, one way is learning the skills or the psychology or different ways through meditation, through psychology, through mantra that, other methods like this visualization that which has the power. So, so this way also we can benefit others that common doctors could not do or the others cannot get benefit from them. So, that's all.
