Rinpoche gave the following advice to a student regarding another student, who was quite difficult to live with, on how best to handle the situation.

It is good to communicate directly to the person about your concerns, or what you need them to do.

Without being angry, like a parent, it is OK to be firm or to ask repeatedly for the person to take care of his responsibilities. It is good to try to be inclusive. Think of yourself as being like a loving parent, so whatever you say to the person, you say in a way that is helpful.
