LYWA Multimedia: Life, Death and After Death

By Lama Thubten Yeshe
Geneva, Switzerland (Archive #044)

This multimedia collection presents chapters from the LYWA book Life, Death and After Death. The essence of this book is a weekend seminar on death, intermediate state and rebirth taught by Lama Yeshe in Geneva, Switzerland, in September 1983. Lama Zopa Rinpoche also attended the seminar and gave an introductory teaching on cultivating a peaceful mind.

Finding Peace in Everyday Life, by Lama Zopa Rinpoche, is our latest title in this multimedia series.

The Death Process

Through educating ourselves in the death process and training our mind in meditation, when the death experience comes we’re able to recognize what’s going on and think, “It’s the conditions that are making me hallucinate. There are no self-existent hallucinated objects.” Thus, this also enhances our understanding of emptiness.
- Lama Yeshe

In this multimedia title, Lama Yeshe leads us through the experiences and visions of the death process and discusses how this natural process can be used to release ego and realize emptiness. This is a presentation of Chapter Four from the book Life, Death and After Death.
