E-letter Special Mailing February 2008

By Nicholas Ribush

Dear Friends,

Some exciting news from the Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive. Our new books have arrived.

First is Lama Yeshe’s Universal Love: The Yoga Method of Buddha Maitreya. Unlike nearly all our other books, this one is for sale, not free. The recommended retail price is $15 but there are trade discounts for FPMT Dharma center bookstores. Please contact us for details. It is on sale now through the LYWA website, Snow Lion Publications, Wisdom Books in the UK, and very soon through the FPMT online store, Amazon.com, and so forth.

Our second book is free: Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s How Things Exist: Teachings on Emptiness, which has been edited by Ven. Ailsa Cameron and is based on a series of teachings Rinpoche gave in New York in 1991. It can be ordered in any quantity but we ask that you cover the shipping and handling charges.

Finally there’s our reprint of Rinpoche’s Making Life Meaningful, which has been completely redesigned and updated. It's also free; you'll just need to cover the shipping.

We are in the process of sending large quantities of all these titles to Wisdom Books in London for distribution in the UK and Europe, to Mandala Books for distribution in Australia, and to Chandrakirti Centre for distribution to FPMT centers in New Zealand.

And while on the topic of free books, we would really value your opinion of the ones we publish and distribute. Some people have suggested that we should not publish free books so we would like to have your opinion. Please help us by taking the following very brief survey. Thank you so much. [NOTE: the results of this survey are now available here.]

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us about these books or if we can help you with anything else.

Much love,

Nick Ribush
