Due to all the past, present, future merits collected by me, by oneself, the three-time merits collected by others, may the bodhicitta be actualized within one’s heart, in the heart of all one’s own family members, in the hearts of all the students in this organization, as well as all those benefactors, there are so many people who give up their life, sacrifice their life to the organization, doing service to others, in all their hearts as well as in the hearts of all the sentient beings, without delay even a second.

As well as for those who rely upon me, whom I promised to pray, whose names are given to me, those doing service as well, so everyone, in everyone’s heart, one’s own family members particularly, without delay even a second.

Particularly, especially may the bodhicitta be generated in the hearts of all the leaders of the world.

Third, especially may the bodhicitta be, due to all the three-time merits collected by oneself, by others, may the bodhicitta be actualized in the hearts of all the Muslim people and as well as all those others, as well those who has harmful thoughts to harm others, to the world, and as well as in the hearts of the top leaders of the mainland Chinese government, bodhicitta to be actualizes in their hearts, without delay even a second. And in whose heart bodhicitta generated, may it be increased.

So all this unconceivable merits we collected during this time, the special Buddha’s time showing holy deeds, every day hundred millions of whatever each mantra, hundred million each merit, hundred millions each prostration, hundred millions, so if we meditated on bodhicitta, one hundred million times the merit we collect, so whatever, if we recite the Heart Sutra, a hundred million times, whatever, then Arya Sanghata Sutra, every practice we do, every mantra we recite, so unbelievable, unbelievable merit we’re able to collect this time, during these special days, even for one day, even just one day, unconceivable merit, every practice, virtuous activity, every single thing what we do during the session and even out of the session, so many eons unbelievable, unbelievable, so many eons of negative karma purified even by each session, then by each practice, even by chanting the mantra, Mitukpa mantra, so each session of nyung-nä, Mitukpa sessions and however, so many eons of negative karma is purified, so hundred thousands, so many eons of negative karma is purified and then collected so much merit, cause of enlightenment, liberation from samsara, happiness of future lives, so all this, how much we become closer to enlightenment, so all this by the kindness of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, that we come to know all this practice is because of His Holiness. I thought, if His Holiness didn’t come out of Tibet, then we wouldn’t have met the lamas, all the rest of the other lamas giving teachings, we wouldn’t have this opportunity, we wouldn’t have all this knowledge, we wouldn’t have this incredible opportunity, so therefore, so by kindness of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. So therefore we are responsible to pray and that His Holiness has stable life, all the holy wishes be succeed immediately. And in particular this year, all the obstacles, life obstacles, however, that in the view of sentient beings, immediately to be pacified. Next thing is all the holy wishes be succeed immediately.

We dedicate the same with all the other virtuous friends, Kyabje ?Denma Lochö Rinpoche, Kyabje Chöden Rinpoche, all the, and then we dedicate all the merits here now, Kyabje Kirti Tsenshab Rinpoche then to all the holy wishes whatever Rinpoche had to benefit us sentient beings and to actualize that immediately and to reincarnate, to return back as quick as possible and to turn Dharma wheel in Taiwan for us sentient beings, all the students and all the rest of the sentient beings, as quick as possible, able to enjoy the nectar of Dharma. So sutra and tantra teachings whatever’s needed, so able to enjoy, so receive whatever teaching need and that, again to be the leader of the, crown of the holy beings who preserve Dharma, spread Dharma, then in particular the complete teaching of Lama Tsongkhapa. To happen that same then Kyabje, that His Holiness Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, then whatever holy wishes he had to benefit us sentient beings in this world and to be able to actualize immediately, and the same, to return back as quick as possible and then reveal Dharma to us all sentient beings, that enjoy Dharma and then whatever we need, sutra, tantra, and then bring us sentient beings to enlightenment as quick as possible. To be crown of the, holder of the teachings of Buddha in this world. Same thing, Kyabje Rilbur Rinpoche, also Rinpoche came one time in Taiwan, I think, here, so many of you here, you have received teachings, so same, then whatever wishes Rinpoche had to be actualized immediately and able to, and to return, to be able to see the new holy body, young, to be able to see the holy face. Then as quick as possible, then same, reveal Dharma to us sentient beings. So receive whatever teaching need, sutra, tantra, all that, to become the, to be the crown of all the holy beings preserving the complete, whole entire Dharma, particularly Lama Tsongkhapa’s teaching, in this world. [pause]

Then Lama Ösel Rinpoche then to have stable life, able to be dynamic, most inspiring, dynamic leader, spiritual teacher in this world that [pause] inspire millions in this world into Dharma, open their mind, hearts towards Dharma and bring to enlightenment. Solve the sufferings, problems of the young people, young and old in this world.

Same, Geshe Lama Konchog was here a long time, I think, how many years? Three years? Two years? One year, two years, three?

[Chun Ru: Actually, from the first year till the last time, he started to come in ’92 and then, he almost came in ’97, seven, eight years.]

[Chun Ru: He has been traveling to Taiwan for seven or eight years.]

So, anyway, he taught the whole entire lam-rim here, and so same, same prayer or whatever plans Geshe Lama Konchog had to be actualized, everything to be actualized without any obstacle, and the incarnation to be most beneficial, whatever, however he intended to be benefiting this world, to be like that.

Due to the all past, present, future merits collected by me, the three-time merits collected by others, all the students who passed away up to now, then recent one who died, the director of mahamudra Centre. I mentioned about that, right? How he died, the ex-director of Mahamudra Centre helped him, Roy, okay? The ex-director, so by putting his hand on the present director’s, well, not the present, but on his hand then told him, let go, he kind of like sweet, kind of little bit chanting, “let go, let go, let go.” Little bit like when you make the baby to go to bed. So let go, he repeated that over and over, and then he said, Go to pure land. And then he, he has closed his eyes already, so when he, the ex-director Roy, who made the center, director from the beginning, I think, well, one time Sally, anyway, they are the ones who made the center, who created it, built up. So anyway, when he put his hand on the Terry Leach, the present director, recent director’s hand, then he opened the eye, then he smiled. And then he kept on saying, “let go, let go,” then he said, Go to pure land. Then seems he was able to speak in that time, Which pure land? Roy said, Any pure land. Then he smiled. Before dying, he smiled and then his breath stopped. Very easy. He smiled then, very easy, his breath stopped.

So I sent a message making a little bit joke, so I said that, amazing what the ex-hippie, the guys what they did, and then I said, now his hand become very precious, so his hand has to have wooden box, his hand has to be in wooden box. And then I said when he passed away, Roy, this ex-director, when he passed away, his hand should be kept in the center, gold leaf, his hand. No, sorry, before that I said, now he must do all over New Zealand, he must do this all over New Zealand, liberating them, the people who are dying.

But the way he did is great. It’s very simple, just you tell the person to let go and that’s the most important thing. Even the person knows the po-wa technique extremely well, but then if the person didn’t let go the attachment, attachment to one’s own body, attachment to one’s own family members, attachment to one’s own cars, attachment to one’s own house, or attachment to golf, anyway, whatever there is, so even though you know the meditation techniques well, the po-wa, the consciousness cannot shoot to the pure land, the person will have a lot of difficulties. So it’s, so what he did is very simple, simple but e most important foundation. Even to go pure land, first you let go the attachment to this life. So he keep on repeating very slowly, repeating over and over. It helps to remind, because many times, maybe, when the person dies may not remember and because of course especially with sicknesses, mind not clear or there are many obstacles, not clear or pain or not clear, there can be many obstacles, worry, fear because they take over then you can’t, then doesn’t give chance to think.

Then on top of that he mentioned pure land. So that’s two very important things. First he said, let go, the foundation, the obstacles, cutting the obstacles. Then next he said, go to pure land. So I already mentioned the other day important to mention the specific name of the pure land, so the person has something to hold onto that make closer to be born there.

So including that and then, however, anyone who passed away up to now and all those, then all the numberless hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, all those who are unimaginably suffering now in the lower realms, may they immediately get liberated from all these suffering realms and may they be born in pure land where they can be enlightened or may they receive a perfect human body and by meeting perfectly qualified Mahayana guru, Mahayana teachings, may they achieve enlightenment as quick as possible.

Including all those who rely upon me, whom I promised to pray, whose name is given to me, those who died. So same, same dedication to them.

Due to all the past, present, future merits collected by oneself, three-times merits collected by others, as we, please pray this way, related to yourself that, any sentient being whomever I see sick or hurt or sick, may that person immediately get recovered, just by my seeing or my hearing, immediately the person sickness get recovered and then actualize bodhicitta and achieve enlightenment as quick as possible. And also the sentient being, anyone whom I see died or heard died, through TV or newspaper or from people, just by that may those sentient beings be immediately be born in pure land and become enlightened, to be born a pure land where they can be enlightened. Then sentient beings who are born human being but no opportunity to practice Dharma, may they meet a perfectly qualified Mahayana guru, Mahayana teachings, and may they achieve enlightenment as quick as possible.

Due to all the past, present, future merits collected by me, the three-time merits collected by others, oneself, one’s own family members, then all the organizers in this organization, the FPMT, all the students, every student, then all those who sacrifice their life, so many who sacrifice their life to the organization, doing service to sentient beings, teaching of Buddha, and those who rely upon me, whom I promised to pray, whose name is given to me, and those doing service to me, may all of us, may every one of us have long life, to be healthy, all the wishes to be succeed immediately according to holy Dharma. Most important, may we be able to actualize Lama Tsongkhapa’s complete teaching, that unify sutra and tantra, in this very lifetime within all of our hearts without delay even a second.

All the Sanghas in this organization to be able to complete, to have long life and healthy body, healthy mind and to be able to complete scriptural understandings and have realizations of the path to enlightenment this very lifetime without delay even a second by having, by receiving all the conditions, all the needs, all the protections in their lives.

By living in the pure vinaya.

Due to all the three-time merits collected by me, three-time merits collected by others, may all the building, all the projects and building Maitreya statue in this world, different parts of the world and all the rest of the holy objects, to build in different parts of the world, to cause sentient beings to collect extensive merit as quick as possible and to purify their defilements as quick as possible, to achieve, to actualize the path as quick as possible, for that to achieve enlightenment as quick as possible. So all this to be, all this without delay, without any delay to be able to actualize immediately by receiving all the needs, all the conditions, all the needs, funds and everything. So then as well as offering service to the monasteries, the Lama Tsongkhapa tradition monasteries, the largest monasteries, where they preserve, learn the most extensive Buddhadharma, depth and extensive, able to continue all the service there, the offering food, offering the money for the teachers, all those and that and the other monasteries as well. And also the offering service to the Sanghas in this organization as well. Then building monasteries in different parts of the, building monasteries, nunneries, retreat places in different parts of the world so that, preserve Dharma, spread Dharma, to actualize the path, then receiving all the needs for that.

Then all the social services, the prison projects, helping prisoners to learn Dharma, to practice Dharma, to achieve enlightenment as quick as possible, to be liberated from prison, samsaric prison as quick as possible, and then the Dharma publishing, spread Dharma in every corner of the world, all over the world and those to be always successful, then nonstop, to receive all the needs for that. And then the universal education, the heart of the education, then those to be spread all over the world, especially violent countries, and then all the young people to, everybody to learn this, and may everybody who come to learn this to become like Chenrezig, source of peace and happiness of all sentient beings, bringing perfect peace and happiness, each person bringing perfect peace and happiness in this world, in one’s own life and in this world. And then hospice so all those people who are helping people who are dying then may every person dying that care of this organization, FPMT, or the hospice, may all those beings able to generate, stop immediately their fear, worries of death and generate compassion to sentient beings, virtuous thought, compassion, or devotion, however, then all those to be born in the pure land where they can be enlightened or receive a perfect human body and complete path and achieve enlightenment as quick as possible by meeting perfectly qualified Mahayana guru. So then same those sick people giving medicine, or shelters, food, whatever, all those then same, may all this cause them to generate compassion in their hearts, loving kindness in their hearts, and then so they have most meaningful life, then achieve enlightenment as quick as possible by actualizing the whole path to enlightenment, in all their hearts. Whatever other social services then same, to have same effect.

And may every center to be most beneficial for all sentient beings, able to cause to generate faith to Buddha, Dharma, Sangha and karma and generate bodhicitta in the hearts of all sentient beings, they will cause, the centers to be able to cause all this, and bring to enlightenment as quick as possible, especially to spread Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings, unification of sutra and tantra, in the hearts of all sentient beings. And then whatever projects they have, every center to spread Dharma or social services then buying land or buying house or whatever, some centers have these projects, whatever they have, may all of this succeed immediately by receiving all the needs.

Due to all the three-time merits collected by oneself, three-time merits collected by others, may all the, may everybody the staff here the Taichung Center, Shakyamuni Center, then everyone who do service for sentient beings and teaching of Buddha, particularly Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings and with bodhicitta motivation, able to do the work with the bodhicitta motivation and then anybody, the center to be most beneficial to all sentient beings, and anybody who comes to the center then the minute when they come to the center, put their feet at the center, immediately purify all their negative karma, it become healing all their physical and mental problems and become great healing, sicknesses or spirit harm, and find faith in refuge and karma and actualize bodhicitta immediately, also realize emptiness, just by coming here. Then also able to, however, able to learn Dharma, particularly Lama Tsongkhapa’s teaching in depth and extensive, able to learn, able to have broad understanding of the Buddhadharma, so that can teach others, so that your understanding of Dharma is very clear, less mistake and very clear and very extensive and also so that you can educate other sentient beings, you can give very clear, deep, extensive understanding to others, awaken their mind. So the ignorance, sleep, the ignorance, you can awaken them, so like this bring to enlightenment. So like that, same, all the centers in Taiwan, same to be like that. Everybody able to, exactly like a bodhisattva, able to offer service to sentient beings, teaching of Buddha. Also all the resident teachers, we have many resident teachers in the organization, here Geshe _______, Geshe ?Khedrup, then all the rest, then have healthy long life and healthy body and mind, and all their wishes to benefit for sentient beings, all this be succeed immediately.

So, by doing King of Prayers, extensive dedication for sentient beings, okay.

Due to all the past, present, future merits collected by me, three-time merits collected by others, that which exist but which are empty, may the I who exists but who is empty, achieve Mitukpa Buddha’s enlightenment, which exists but is empty, lead all the sentient beings, who exist but who are empty, to that Mitukpa’s enlightenment, which exists but which is empty, by myself alone, who exists but who is empty.

So I think that this time, anyone who is able to attend the retreat or the various practices, nyung näs and all this or who is able to attend any part, I think made life extremely meaningful and very worthwhile. So, [pause] made huge differences, that we did not die so far, gave incredible meaning for that, for life, also made huge differences for the future, much easier, much closer to the enlightenment, liberation, enlightenment. So even though myself unable to participate with you with every session. So the trying to, for all the success for the organization, activities, everything, so this time trying to, anyway, some puja, some practice, some pujas, so to get done at this time. So however, [pause] so didn’t get done much to do commentary on the sadhana, some parts went in the first day, the preparation for the retreat, gave explanation, some part went there. So anyway, except those long night teachings, didn’t come every session but the teachings long nights which maybe could have covered days of teachings, many days of teachings. So I think, I am very happy that this retreat happened, nyung näs and various practices and especially Mitukpa. Yeah, so I feel it’s very worthwhile. Worthwhile my coming here that you are able to do retreat, so I thought, I feel that.

So actually, with these long night teachings, I think, next year teachings already given, covered.

So therefore I think it’s really great that this retreat happened, able to do. And so those who have done, those have finished number, ten thousand, but the ten thousand is like this. On the basis of session not between the sessions, you finish the whole sadhana then just chant between, that’s not included part of the retreat, you don’t include, you can recite the mantra, you can chant mantras continuously, but you don’t count that part of the retreat, only on the basis of sadhana. But on the basis of sadhanas if you did, then you can count that one.

So those who have completed the number need to organize a fire puja.

So everybody got Buddha’s photo?

So this is quite recent photo of the Buddha inside the Bodhgaya stupa, that’s very special statue that His Holiness and that everybody all over the world goes to pray. So this is new, offered by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the back side and then this crown, crown was not there, so His Holiness offered, this gold crown was offered by His Holiness and also begging bowl, that time unfortunately I was not there and many Tibetans were there so they put offerings, money, into the bowl and then His Holiness offered this, then he made strong prayer I think for, my guess is for the success of Tibet, all the wishes to be fulfilled, independence, all that, I think, and also teachings to last a long time and to spread. Those people who did that, who were there that time, joined offer, made, to fill up the begging bowl with the money, I think, created very special cause, with His Holiness.

This time the money offering you did before, so here today, so I would like to, ask ?their ?permission to, I have one project, this has been quite, I think maybe five or six years, the Sipri in Tibet, which is Heruka’s holy body, holy speech, holy mind, the Mount Kailash, then Tsari in Tibet, and Lapchi, each of these Heruka’s holy place, one is the holy body, holy speech, one holy mind. So Sipri this is, from Nepal you cross the border and then you reach the next day more or less, Sipri a very special mountain that, a very special holy place of Heruka that combines all three.

So there was one Maitreya Buddha statue before there, two stories, maybe one story, I’m not sure. So anyway, there was one rock, that rock was very poison, any animal, any people who touch it they die immediately. So one lama suggested to build a Maitreya Buddha statue on top of that rock, then that didn’t happen, it stopped. So the place, this mountain has many hermitages, where so many beings, so many meditators came, they attained realization, also including Lama Atisha. So the monk who did research there two years, so there is about one hundred hermitages, so he made research all these hermitages and the stories of each lama and he made a book.

So he came to me saying to revive this and so his wish is that after, when the monks from Sera, Ganden, Drepung when they complete their study so that who want to meditate, a place for them to do retreat there, so that was his idea. So he came to me to ask, so I said it’s okay. They just need very small, a few rooms in each place and some statues like that, so to revive and then place for meditators come there to do retreat. So the first thing to start is the Maitreya statue, two story, so this has been a few years ago the idea was started, so I think, so what I would like to do, today’s money offering, I would like put it on that, so to start to actualize this Maitreya statue in Tibet, Sipri, this very, very special holy place.

So we did, last time when we went on pilgrimage, we didn’t have time to go round the stupa, the mountain so what we did is, you can see the mountain on the way, so the next morning, we did on the bus, on the car road, we did prostrations from there to the mountain, so hoping the next time to make pilgrimage there. So this is unbelievable mountain this, it is totally different mountains to others. So there’s a road that goes round, so this side road, this side there’s nothing, the stones doesn’t have any special but the road, but this side of the stone which connects to the mountain, every stone has some conch shell, every stone has some special form, grains or, it is stone but all kinds of design. It’s a very amazing, holy place. So it is a place that, I think, predicted by Marpa or, place for other yogis, meditators to meditate, to have attainment. So anyway, the Maitreya Buddha statue, so I though, so this is a small one, so I think to create the cause for all the, to create the cause rest of the projects as well as especially the big Maitreya project. So I thought to let you know.
